This is an authentic Thai Massaman curry paste (?????????????????) packaged in a glass jar. It is a rich, aromatic, and mildly spicy paste with Persian/Indian influences, made from dried red chilies, roasted spices (cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, cloves, nutmeg), garlic, lemongrass, shallots, and often peanuts or tamarind. Used as the base for Massaman curry, a sweet, nutty, and comforting curry. Glass preserves its complex roasted spice aroma.
